Event Details

Stop by, say hello and pick up your lavender provisions or gifts and check out our rustic lavender farm tucked in the Allegan forest!

Expectations: Our lavender farm is home to approximately 1200 lavender plants and we specialize in English lavender for aromatherapy, most specifically hydrosol. English lavender plants are not showy like most other farm’s Lavandin plants. Click here for more information about our farm.

Our lavender is approximately 3 weeks late this year due to a very cold spring. We have buds (5/29/2025) but we are usually distilling by now. We are expecting some purple around the second week of June. We have 19 varieties of lavender plants that bloom at different times, so we have about 6 weeks of buds and blooms. We are currently expecting to have the most color the last week of June. We may even have some of our late bloomers until close to August. After Harvest: the green retains its signature lavender scent until winter dormancy. Winter dormancy begins in November or December. Even without buds or blossoms you can still smell lavender on a humid or rainy day. To set realistic expectations, please be advised: we are a “different” lavender farm. We do “selectively harvest” viable buds for hydrosol hydrodistillation as soon as possible, so our plants never look full. We specialize in English lavender which is not as “showy” as the hybrid Lavandin. In fact, it is quite underwhelming to go to an English lavender farm vs a Lavandin farm. We are always pleased to teach you the difference between English lavender vs Lavandin and the different uses between the species. We are not a photogenic farm designed for photography and events. We are an educational, real, working lavender farm designed for aromatherapy and culinary applications. We are the place to go if you want to learn about the different types of lavender, how to grow lavender and how to use it in aromatherapy or culinary applications.

We are located on a “flag lot” so you will not see lavender from the road. You do need to find us by looking for our address numbers on our mailbox. There are no “facilities” so please make sure you take care of “business” before you arrive!
